Beyond the Lens
PhOTography that truly understands your child
I have been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, licensed in NH for the last 20 years. Six years ago I started 603trilogyphotos and figured out a way to merge my two passions together.
Beyond the lens was created for families who are hesitant to get family photos taken because their child may not “sit and pose” for a photo. I bring more than just a camera to your photo session, I bring flexibility, and a deep understanding for your child’s unique sensory, emotional, and developmental needs.
I will use my OT background and experience to create a safe, patient, and sensory friendly space where your child can simply be who they are. It’s not about forced smiles or sitting still, it’s about connection, comfort, and capturing your family’s real moments and raw emotion.
In my sessions;
*movement is welcome
*breaks are expected
*meltdowns are met with patience not pressure
*smiles and eye contact are never enforced but joy is gently invited and celebrated
When booking a Beyond the Lens session, together we will thoroughly plan and tailor your session specifically having you and your child in mind using a sensory friendly approaches, informed strategies, and met with a trauma-aware, strengths based mindset.
These aren’t just photos, these are memories captured with intention, care, and clinical insight into what helps your child feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
Professional photography isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. Every child deserves to be seen just as they are,
and YOU deserve photos that reflect the love resilience and joy in your life.
Meet Trent. Trent is an 11 year old boy who has level 3 non verbal ASD, global developmental delay, ADHD, PICA, & epilepsy.
“Trent is an energetic, happy, and very vocal 11 year old boy. Nothing brings him more joy than spending time in the water with his “squid pops”, besides playing in the mud and dirt! Trent is deeply loved by his two very protective brothers, and absolutely adored and loved by his parents with whom he loves to cuddle and have tickle fights with.
‘Trent is in the 6th grade and enjoys group music sessions and activities best while at school. While Trent does not speak words, his big and beautiful blue eyes speak volumes, and he is more than capable to let you know exactly what he wants when he wants it. We are so thankful that Lyndsey was able to capture Trent in photos that demonstrate his authentic, beautiful self in his favorite environment. Trent is not a kid who likes to sit for long periods of time, so professional photos had never been considered until now. We will cherish them forever!” - Katie, Trent’s Mom
